Maria Lou Calanche

Founder and executive director of Legacy LA, a youth-development nonprofit serving Boyle Heights and the Eastside. A longtime community organizer with a background in education and public health, she previously ran for the District 14 council seat. She is running in District 1 on a platform of neighborhood investment, youth services, and responsive constituent services.
